ABOUT MELISSA
Hi, I am Melissa Judd.
I am a mother to two children and a passionate advocate for mental health and well-being. Having personally experienced mental illness and an eating disorder, I am dedicated to supporting others on their own journeys to recovery and good health.
My personal experience and empathy give me a unique perspective and deep understanding of the challenges faced by those struggling with mental health issues. I believe that everyone deserves support and I am committed to providing guidance, encouragement, and practical tools to help people achieve their goals and live their best lives.
With my warm and compassionate approach, I create a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I draw on a range of evidence-based techniques, including mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, and Trauma Therapy, to help my clients build resilience, overcome challenges, and thrive.
In addition to my work as a mental health advocate and coach, I am also a frequent speaker at conferences and events, sharing my story and insights to help raise awareness about mental health issues and reduce stigma.
I hold a certification in Life Coaching, Cognitive Behaviour Coaching and I am a certified Trauma Practitioner trained in The Richards Trauma process. These skills combined create a powerful and effective way to achieve complete mind, body, and soul healing.
“Since our first meeting, a few years ago, I have been drawn to Mel and her friendly and relatable manner. Mel speaks from the heart and you can see that she practices what she shares with her clients.”
“I have had the pleasure of working professionally with Mel for Teens programs as well as women's programs, talking about how Nutrition is just one part of a holistic approach to mental and physical health and healing. Mel is always welcoming and willing to share her past experiences of healing her own body through Nutrition and her own knowledge through Integra Healing Co.
Her clients are always engaged and you can see that they know Mel "gets them".
Having a person in your corner who has lived experience is imperative to healing.
I love working with Mel and recommend her any day of the week. “
